The McKlein Company of Chicago (IL) got the memo: Ladies entered the work-force during WWII and we are here to stay!

I had been searching for almost two years. The various local stores tried to sell me back-packs, laptop skins, travel cases, purses. I even bought some of them. Nothing seemed to fit my image until this laptop bag!

The bag is leather, beautifully made, stylish, wheeled, transformable with every little trinket you can think of … AND … it’s “all woman”! [Sorry, gents, I think you will react to this case in much the same way as I reacted to all the male versions available at most stores. ]

It easily transforms into a strapped bag and even comes with its own poncho to protect it from the elements.

Focus Camera, Inc. (the seller) forwarded me an e-mail told me there was NO LOCK to the front compartment (which was obviously lockable). Their service was prompt and courteous, but they are not very knowledgeable on the product itself. Thankfully, their prompt e-mail response included the manufacturer’s name, which allowed me to go to their web site and found that the bag DID come with a lock and it was hidden inside a very tiny quaint little pouch.

I now have it all: The bag, the lock and all the fills. If you are looking for economical, then this might not be for you. But if you are wanting to treat yourself for all that you do, then this is your holiday gift!

Pros:

you now have USB 3.0

been using for couple weeks and works great

Cons:

Uses an additional USB. Don’t try connecting to usb hub (my Seagate 1TB USB 3.0 starts beeping for more power).

USB is a tight fit when using both ports.

When plugging something in you have to be careful for not undoing the express slot.

I would recommend this probably over every other product as of Sept. If there ever comes one without using an extra USB I would probably purchase that one instead.

Some information show in the logitech camera is not 100% correct. For example the camera has a timer setup and it is 10 sec. timer, but it is actually about 15 second before it takes the picture even though 10 sec. is what it’ll shows on your LCD screen from your camera. Also the number that showed how many pictures you have left to take isn’t correct either. Let’s just say you’ll 12 pictures show on your LCD is available for you take to pictures. but you can actually take up 18 pictures before it reachs the 0. It wasn’t too bad since it only showed less pictures which you can take more than what it showed better than showing more pictures to take but endup taking fewer pictures than it showed. Overall I would strongly recommend Clicksmart 820 from other brand of camera that is similar to this one and also those previous model of clicksmart camera as well. ClickSmart 820 has LCD color screen, quicksend, 2x precision digital zoom and external SmartMedia memory slot (for more memory for your camera) that does not has from it older model of ClickSmart. Buy smart and use smart with ClickSmart 820. Except one thing I forget to mention, this camera also has a video mode for recording video in 320 by 240 in digital camera and 640 by 280 in webcam. If you ask. is it a good video recorder? Well, I will have to say don’t count on it. The video mode is nice to play around but don’t expect your video to be as good as a real video camera. Since video mode will not have flash light on, it will need a place that has a lot of light for it to work a little better. Even though Logitech did not say this is a 3 in 1 camera use, they’re somehow consider as 3 in 1 and personally to me, I will only consider 2 in 1 only, which are digital camera and webcam. Video mode is useless to me because of its low resolution and no flash light on even though this camera has microphone build in. Then again if you’re looking for similar camera that has 3 in 1 in perfect quality of both pictures and videos, I would have to say that is no such camera can do that. (At least not right now). This camera is great for personal use but not great for professional use.

Then, one day, it slid off the couch and caught most of the weight on one leg and the joint broke. It was like a 2 foot fall. Paying this kind of sum for something of this kind, I felt that I was going to get something of high quality and ultimately it disappointed.

Fault #1: After a little use, the stand starts to creak loudly at the slightest movement, such as when typing. This is because the joints are held into the arms by several indentations in the arms, making an interference fit with the plastic joints. The joints work loose, and start creaking. This could be fixed by attaching the joints to the arms with rivets.

Fault #2: I have a larger laptop with a 17″ screen, which means it’s also nearly 17″ deep. Unfortunately, this stand is only 10.5″ deep, making it easy for my laptop to fall over backward if the stand is tipped back a bit. A deeper deck would fix this. Obviously, it also doesn’t fully support my laptop.

Fault #3, the worst defect. The joints are made entirely of plastic, and I’ve accidentally broken the top joints twice. They are under the most stress from side loads. If these joints were metal, I never would have had a problem. This time, I bought a much sturdier Tilt-Top Overbed Table. It even cost less, and Amazon.com shipped it for free.

Your mileage may vary, however, and I’m sure that most people won’t have many problems with these, other than the loud cracking noises from the plastic joints.
